TG's Countdown....

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Today is the day! "Days til kickoff in Madison" falls under 100 days today.  Double digits now.

Just dropped the season ticket order in the mail an hour ago.

Anyone that is a season ticket holder and/or Falcon Club Member....Do you get multiple mailings for season tickets? I must have gotten 4 of these. Not that I mind cuz the pictures make good cube decorations at work. But I'm thinking the U might be able to save $$ by cutting down on that.

GO FALCONS!

Freak, I got another season ticket order form in the mail yesterday and commented to my wife that this is like the fifth or sixth one that we got. I thought maybe it was a new one with Ball Stsaete corrected.

I am not a season ticket holder nor a Falcon Club memeber, yet I got like six of these. They need to do a file merge before creating their final list. Three kids in the Kids Clubs, so I know that gets me three order forms. I bought Motor City Bowl tickets, so that is another instance. I've ordered group tickets for basketball so that gets me a another hit. And i think I ordered tickets on line once. Don't you think there is an IT person there that could compare addresses on all these files and knock out the duplicates? :?

I would think so WH. I only need 1 or 2. Anyone know who we could direct this to? The Ticket office itself? Athletic Dept? Paul Krebs?

The problem with that is that it assumes a database. ;-)

I've gotten 5 orderforms thus far. 3 of them to me, 2 to other entities at my address (my mom and the website??).

The dataset has to be coming from SOMETHING. Anything at all and they could put it into a database (hell even access would work), and merge the tables and then select only distinct records.

Apparently they don't employ enough geeks in the athletic dept.

I have no order forms, but kdog wins the May avatar contest hands down. Hell, I think he takes December-April, too.

Yes. I get multiple mailings for Falcon football and basketball season tickets. Is it annoying? You bet. I suppose thats what I get for using my credit card to order tickets over the phone thru the BG ticket office.
