Is J5 getting ANY attention in Cleveland?

I was just talking with my father who told me that he has heard absolutely nothing in any Cleveland media about Josh and his potential or even lack-thereof. Nothing. I'm wondering if my dad is just loopy or if he truly is being overlooked by just about everyone.

What my dad did tell me is that most coverage of the Browns' quarterback situation has revolved around Frye and his "hometown boy" image. If that is the case, why is Josh getting no pub at all? I mean, Bowling Green isn't as close to Cleveland as Akron is, but since when does anyone in Cleveland give a flying crap about anything that goes on in Akron -- especially when it comes to college football.

Oh yeah, please try and at least work with me on that last statement. Let's stick to the question at hand rather than get into a slugfest about who from Cleveland cares about Akron more. It was intended to be a general and broad statement...

Well, that is absolutely ridiculous. Josh may not be the greatest NFL prospect, but for the Browns with their perpetually laughable O-line and running game, he is the best quarterback they have.

How can two pocket passers be getting all of the pub on this crappy, crappy team? Its ridiculous. I am so tired of Browns fans. Yes, they are loyal, but they are mostly a bunch of idiots. And yes I have considered myself a Browns fan for most of my life. I consider my ties to realism to be much stronger, though. :?

I'm in far too pissy a mood to really get into that now; I'll simply agree that it sucks I've never heard his name mentioned.

Not really. The sports writers have too many arrests to cover.

On a positive note, his popularity in Germany is second only to that of David Hasselhoff.

I heard Casey Coleman (WTAM) mention Josh several times after the Browns picked Frye and traded McKown.

It's baseball season...relax...things will heat up in August.
