This says we are playing at Pitt next season, apologies if this is already common knowledge, but I don't recall seeing it.

Thanks O&B. I don't recall hearing that before. Sure would be nice if we got a home game in that deal, but I doubt Pittsburgh is in any hurry to play at a MAC stadium again anytime soon after losing to UT the other year.
So that gives us "home" games with Wisconsin and Boise and a roadie to Pittsburgh. Any ideas on the twelve game? Think we will play Temple again?

That is great news to read we play in Pittsburgh next year. I visited the city for 4.5 years till my daughter finally graduated a year and a half ago. It is a good town to have fun in when not at the football game.
Go Falcons

2007
That would be sweet if we play Pitt next year. Don't know who the 4th team would be but that would be a great ooc schedule.

I thought we played Wyoming next year.
Oh. yeah..I will personally delete any posts about "the Michigan game". That joke is officially dead.
When do we play Michigan?

We had a 2-for-1 deal with Pittsburgh quite a while ago. We played at Pittsburgh in 1999; they came to Bowling Green in 2000.
Our second game at Pittsburgh has never been played. I can't even say off hand if it was still listed on our future schedule or not, but it used to be.
Here is my theory: Once the 12-game schedule was announced, we simply moved up our game at Pittsburgh to 2006 to get it over with. With us having "two" home games already with Boise State and Wisconsin, it's the perfect time to get it done.
In other words, we may still be playing at Wyoming next season. Remember: 12-game schedules.

Not much unfortunately. The future schedules portion of that website prides itself on being erroneous.

I think Flipper is right. The Wyoming series was moved back to accomodate the Boise games. Temple in '06 would more than likely play the other half of the conference they are not playing this year and then become a full-member in '07.

I just checked the Wyoming Web site, and it does not include any reference to Bowling Green on its future schedules.

Here is the nonconference portion:
2005
9/3 @ Florida
9/10 Louisiana-Monroe
9/24 @ Ole Miss
2006
9/2 Utah State
9/16 Boise State
9/23 @ Virginia
2007
9/1 Virginia
9/8 Utah State
9/15 @ Boise State
9/22 @ Ohio U.
2008
8/30 Ohio U.
9/27 Utah State
11/8 @ Tennessee
2009
9/26 @ Utah State
2010
9/4 @ LSU
It looks as if Ohio U. took over our Wyoming series, doesn't it?
That's a real bummer for me. I liked the idea of a home-and-home with Wyoming.
