What the heck did your kids do Freak? Did they get expelled from school or something? Short of killing someone, I can't imagine what they could have done to deserve that kind of punishment. :(

Thanks to my new home theater system, complete with DVD burner, I now have the 2 bowl games on DVD =) I'm planning on burning the rest of my game tapes tonight. The joy of getting things for free when you buy a big TV is immeasurable.

My problem is that all BG's games are on ESPN or ESPN2 so I have to ask my uncle who has cable or my friend who has DirectTv to have a game taped. Sucks I know.

They said, "Dad, I think I want to go to Toledo for college." Freak's a nice enough dad that he spared them the mandatory lethal injection and let them watch football. :D

maybe I shouldn't rub this in but my new TV is HD and I just subscribed to digital cable with the HD package. So if we're on ESPN, i have the game in HD and any BG fan is welcome to watch the game at my place. as for watching the falcons in HD....I have to go change my pants now...

you know what? I was a never a believer until I watched my first baseball and basketball games in HD. It's like night and day. The sound is much better too.

My favorite was when you'd be watching monday night football and they'd have an HDTV set up and they would say "just look how much clearer it is." Friggin retards, I'm still watching it through a REGULAR TV!!. I can't tell how much clearer it is. I always got a kick out of that. But I'll watch things I normally wouldn't sit through just because it's in HD. I can't get enough of it.

I'm with ya J4H.

I got my HD set in November this year and it is night & day. I cannot wait to watch an entire football season in HD :)

Anyone who is a doubter is welcome to stop by (providing they bring refreshments) and have a look at the comparisons. There is nothing like watching sports in High-Def. It is so vastly superior to watching on a regular TV I cannot even go to the bars anymore to watch the games, unless they've got HD as well.

Good one, TJ. Actually, the boys REQUESTED to watch the videos and DVD. Who am I to say no??? To refuse would be child abuse!

Almost time to break into the 35+ games on tape collection to get me to opening day.

I hear ya man, the season can't get here fast enough.

I hope while watching your collection of games, you don't skip over Blackneys last game, and of course last years awesome comeback in the Glass bowl. Both are classics in my opinion.
