Searching for '04 Game Tapes

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

Hartmom is looking for tapes of last year's games, as many of them as she can find. Can anyone out there help? Mitch? Freak?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I have Oklahoma, NIU, Marshall, UT (not that I watch it past halftime), the GMAC Bowl and two thirds of the WMU game. We turned the clocks back that weekend and I forgot to reset the time on my VCR.  But basically, I taped the game up to Teddy Piepkow's INT in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Anything after halftime was practice for the backups.

Actually the second half of the Western MI game is one of my favorite tapes. We were at the game and got home to watch the tape and lo and behold in the second half they show the Motor City Bowl commercial.

And yep there we are...Legacy Boy high atop my shoulders from the previous MCB....they must have locked in on us at the moment of either Magner's or Saunders TD's. I think it was Saunders, because I am glancing at the clock probably thinking there is still time left for NW to mount a comeback.

I hope they keep that same commercial, we were about the only BG fans in the content and they seemed to have kept enough Marshall and Toledo fans from previous years.

Not to nit-pick...

okay, to totally nit-pick, but I think ya mean "Sanders" (unless you work for CFN.com! ) And wasn't Magner's TD the one that put us on top? That bullet to the left side of the endzone?

No feel free too...stupid mistake or I'm in a college football withdrawl haze.
How will Capt. Steve ever forgive me. Actually I realized my mistake while driving back from taco bell for lunch today....maybe some of those Life Science building types can study the affect of brain functioning and sub-par mexican food.

But I think your right it was Magner's down and out that was the go-ahead-for-good. I better watch it again tonight to make sure....all that game missed was the ability to run onto the field...something that wasn't missed out on down in Mobile last xmas.
