Martin Bayless Football Camp

Post by UK Peregrine »

Did anyone hear anything about BGSU alumnus Martin Bayless's football camp? I was visiting family this past weekend in the Dayton area and picked up a Dayton Daily News and saw Josh Harris was supposed to be an instructor along with a few un-named BGSU coaches. The article mentioned Bowling Green, Ball State, Miami, and Western Kentucky coaches would all attend the camp.

Side note: I thought it was odd that WKU is thrown in there with the other MAC schools. Are they already working with the MAC perhaps as a yet to be announced member?

that camp has been going on for years. My grandma took my brother and i there when i was younger. back when dave shula was coaching the bengals. bayless was there along with keith byars, marco coleman, and many other NFL players. there were quite a few college players instructors there too but it was mostly NFL guys. they had autograph sessions at the end of each days drills and workouts. it used to be alot of fun. i dont know how it is anymore. it used to be held at U. of Dayton's stadium. i imagine it still is.

Correct, this was year number 19 that Martin has had the free camp in Dayton and it is at Welcome Stadium. It is also likely that Josh didn't make the camp as an instructor after reading Tami's thread.
