I mentioned a few months ago how cool it would be for BG to have a SEBO webcam to observe the progress of the construction at the stadium. But since it looks like it won't be happening, if anyone is able and willing to post photos from time to time, it would be much appreciated.....even if it's just a shot of the old bleachers coming down.

I can't wait until the SEBO project is finished!

I'd snap some photos for you and upload them, but my camera is broken and my CPU is failing to recognize my hard drives when it boots up

Not much going on there though, the skeleton of the bleachers are in tact and 75% of the benches have been removed from the structure.

Thanks for the info. At least I can make a mental picture in my mind of what it looks like. But if anyone can produce pictures as this project moves along, I know a lot of us would love to see them.

Since I will be going to work over there in about 20 minutes, I can snap some photos and upload them later!

There is a video feed available on bgsufalcons.com on the Sebo Athletic Center. It's just over 8 minutes long. It will definitely get everyone pumped even more for the football season. It's a very nicely done.

For some reason these videos they have at bgsufalcons.com never work when I try them. Is there some software I have on the computer I'm using to make them work?

Try downloading the FREE version of RealPlayer in the upper right corner of this webpage http://www.real.com/ . Hopefully that will help, becasue the video is definitely worth a look.

it worked for me with realplayer... but it was very choppy. nonetheless, very nice video... definetely gets u pumped up for the start of the season

The Falcon Club tent, scoreboard, etc. occupy the space I believe you are referring to. I don't think they will move those to install the old bleachers.

I agree. I think those bleachers are done for. For the TV audiences, they're ugly anyway. Maybe UT could take 'em.

Well what I do not like about it is that makes our stadium look even more like a HS stadium. The more closed off your stadium is, generally the better it is perceived.

Not much, but at least moving forward...projects normally start slow though, but I hope they get moving, so there is at least some kind of a structure up for any TV games that BG might have.

Even though it won't be finished, if BG can get a TV appearance while at home, it would be a great recruiting tool, because I am sure they would do a report on the construction.

Sure Mike, but it's only temporary. When Doyt's SAC is completed, it will close off the north side better than any half empty bleachers ever could. I would think that having a SAC on the stadium will change the perception people have of the Doyt for the better. We'll just have to deal with the north end being open for a year.
