I looked around the web, briefly, and didnt find much on SEMO outside that they lost 42-3 and gained 250 yards of total offense? Anyone with anymore info?

Southern Illinois -- SEMO's opponent -- is ranked No. 3 in Division I-AA. So SEMO got hammered by a team that might give Northern Illinois a few hiccups this weekend.
SEMO finished something like 8-4 last year, and No. 23 in the final Division I-AA poll.
In other words, they are better than Liberty.

SEMO got run over by Brandon Jacobs who was at Auburn last year and had a pretty good year, but transfered to SIU since Cadillac Williams is back. That guy is huge.
SEMO's QB is a transfer from Arizona State, I believe. The game was on FoxSports. They turned the ball over a bunch and didn't look as bad as the score would indicate.

I'm all for respecting the little guys and whatnot. I'm with everyone clamoring for respect when we go up against the D1A Powerhouses, etc.
However, the talent differential between us and the very best at D1AA should be far greater than the divide between Buffalo and Oklahoma.
If we don't beat SEMO handily I will be very afraid for the rest of the season.

I agree Hammb...We better have this game as a tune-up game for NIU...However, We can't look past them...As much as we love knocking off BCS teams, AA teams like knocking off A teams (Hannibal, Face, and Murdock notwithstanding). So I hope that we are concentraiting on them this week and will beat them handily.

Amen to that. Brandon must guard against a combination of letdown coming off a big game against OK and looking ahead to the Huskies. Let's take care of business and set the tone for the rest of the year.
SEMO QB is Goodenough

From CollegeSprots.com:
Senior Andrew Goodenough is the quarterback for Southeast after sharing the position last season. A transfer from Arizona State, Goodenough played in seven games last season completing 71-116 passes for 906 yards and three TD's with just four interceptions. In last year's final game against Jacksonville State for the OVC title, Goodenough passed for 407 yards and one TD in a losing cause.
What a great name!!!
