it is very much needed, hats off to the Big10 and coaches like Joe Tiller for getting that started

how the heck would replay work in the MAC? Are they gonna ask an emu player's dad to bring his camcorder down so the refs can see the play again? Until the day when every single MAC game is televised in some respect, replay cannot work in the MAC. Right now we are far from that day.

they can have replay even if the game isnt on TV. BG for example when the game isnt televised they still show replays on the scoreboard...the ref's have a special monitor like in the NFL...

if they do not have a scoreboard, they would probably provide someone to run a camera to feed the video directly to the ref's monitor. thats how it would work.
it was on the news last night. i just didnt catch any details. i was asking if anyone could confirm it

Replay has been approved for use in the SEC this season, that's it. They will use the same guidlines as the Big 10 did last season.

It can be done, but I have done some TV work, and there's a lot more to it than most people would think.

every game in the NFL has about 400 cameras on it from millions of different angles. The BG replay camera is not going to allow the refs to see much hard evidence to overturn a play. And will Temple @ Buffalo have replay on the scoreboard? I love replay and all I just don't see the MAC going to it anytime soon. We don't have the resources the Big 11 and SEC do.

I'll believe it when I see it. I just can't see a game between CMU and Ball St. with many different camera positions.

Good luck... I dont think college kids will have enough experience to hit all the necessary angles...

BRING ME LARGE MAC STADIUMS!

This is the big problem. Those pictures don't shoot themselves, and getting those really good angles is really hard.
