9 times is great, but only 3 of those games are on National TV. Having a game on ComCast is no big deal. Being from Chicago originally the game is only carried within about 100 miles of Chicago, also, those games on ComCast are sometimes on a 4 hr tape delay because the Cubs or White Sox games are on. I do think BG should broadcast all its games on Time Warner. Time Warner does have a so-called sports channel, however they usually show Minor League baseball or the BG home opener from 2 yrs ago over and over. I think it would be great for all of BG games to be on a tape delay basis.

But getting back to my point, Northern is on National TV 3 times, BG is on how many times. 4, but I see a 5th game in OU added since ESPN2 has no listings for this date or time. With the MAC Championship game BG will be on ESPN/ESPN2 6 times. Double that of Northern. FoxSports could also pick up the Western, Akron or Kent game too.

Just a quick note, but if you have the Sports Pack with DirecTV you get that channel. I tuned in to a couple of their games when I had it, but I have since just dropped back to only paying for HBO.

HBO!! You must wanted to be able to watch re-runs of Mike Tyson fights instead of some good quality college football!!!

BG, if I counted correctly, has the most National TV appearances, with Miami coming in second. (A&M on ABC, I think. plus 3 ESPN2, and an ESPNU appearance, not counting Bowl and MACC games.) Toledo and OhioU are tied for third....

Notre Dame? Who plays Notre Dame? Miami doesn't, and I didn't think BG did. Miami usually gets its B11 games on ABC.

Isn't Notre Dame's TV contract with NBC and not ABC???

ABC has always known Notre Dame has sucked, probably why they don't show ND on ABC, now if NBC would wake up. NBC has had a contract with the Irish for the past 14 years, and still has it until 2008.

Well since you mentioned Notre Dame, maybe you should attend the Notre Dame Women Football Seminar instead.

Seriously, I'm not trying to be near as harsh as this article is, but I saw this & thought of some of the old BG townies.

I see how it is. Grant obviously made the Other Schools forum for a reason and its becoming quite apparent. It is so UK Peregrine can post in that section on NIU football on TV and then everyone can easily ignore him. Damn you and your strategy to segregate me from the rest of the AZZ population! I will not be so easily dismissed.
