According to this article (link below), we're playing at Pitt next season (2006) as well. A friend of mine who is a Pitt grad said he heard the same thing. That would give us Boise State at home, Wisconsin at Cleveland and at Pittsburgh with one more game TBA if we're playing 12 games.

@ Pitt would work for me! Akron to Pitt is closer than Akron to BG.
That would be a big time OOC sched already...and we have to add another game.

Nationalchamps.net shows us playing at Pittsburgh (its not Pitt any more, is it) in 2006 and 2008. Only thing for 2007 is a trip to Arizona State. Sure would fit for Pittsburgh to come to the Doyt in 2007. 8)

They are going back to Pitt. The new coach had a bird, and it's Pitt again.

That's the way In understand it too. To be honest, as much as I dislike playing I-AA teams, if we had to do that to get another home game with that as our schedule next year (Boise State, vs. Wisconsin, @ Pittsburgh) I'd take it. But only in that case.

I would love to play Oklahoma again. Best game day experience I have ever seen. The fans were first class and the respect they had for the BG team was outstanding. If we have to play a 1-aa team then Eastern Kentucky or WKU would be nice!

Again, I'd like to see us hit the road for whereever as part of a I-A home-and-home. Examples: Florida Atlantic, Middle Tenneseee, Idaho. That would set us up nicely in the future.

But if we do drop a I-AA team into the schedule, then I guess I'd prefer a SWAC or MEAC team that promises to bring the marching band. :)
