Just be glad Neil Young didn't contribute an equal amount of $$$. The "Neil and Bob" would sound REALLY gay...BGSUFootballFan wrote:the bob sounds gay, i like sebo center
Riiiiight. West Lafayette is a cultural mecca.BGSUFootballFan wrote:gay gay gay gay gay gay, haha sorry, it just sounds so blue collar/hill billy, which i guess a town like BG is compared to West Lafayette, i just like things with class or that at least sound authenic, my bad
I think the name has class. $3,000,000.00 (USD) worth of it. (or however much they paid.) For that much money they could hang an iHop sign on the front and serve flap jacks for all I care. In a few years it will be like the Union. I can't even remember who its named after off the top of my head and I was there two days ago. That said I remember a ton about the couple that shelled out for the naming rights, but that was from an article an alumni/dev person showed me years earlier when they sold the asphalt biz in Mich.BGSUFootballFan wrote:gay gay gay gay gay gay, haha sorry, it just sounds so blue collar/hill billy, which i guess a town like BG is compared to West Lafayette, i just like things with class or that at least sound authenic, my bad
Apologize to yourself for making yourself come across like an idiot.BGSUFootballFan wrote:gay gay gay gay gay gay, haha sorry, it just sounds so blue collar/hill billy, which i guess a town like BG is compared to West Lafayette, i just like things with class or that at least sound authenic, my bad
You're lucky, In Boise they sold the naming rights to the BB Arena to Taco Bell for about a million (i think it was). Taco Bell Arena....... No wonder we can't recruit many Bballers to come to play here. People have gotten used to the blue turf but can't quite yet swallow the Taco Bell Arena thing.NWLB wrote:I think the name has class. $3,000,000.00 (USD) worth of it. (or however much they paid.)
