Yes, whenever presented with the opportunity, I'm spreading the Good News about BGSU. At the pool this weekend, ran into the mom of a boy who was on my baseball and football teams. "Geez, Coach Karl, I didn't recognize you without the orange." Hmmm ... I'll have to shop for new swim trunks ...
Anyway, Noah has recently announced that he's going to play football
AND baseball at Bowling Green, in addition to singing in the choir. The latter may be the thing that convinces Mrs. 87!

I know you'll love this one ... We were on vacation in Hilton Head with friends from Cleveland. Of course, we brought our PlayStation along and fired up NCAA 2005 (complete with the full BGSU roster!). When my friend's son started a game, he decided to play with Ohio State. Noah asked him why and he said because he liked Ohio State. Noah wrinkled up his nose like he had smelled something bad and said "Why do you like Ohio State? You should pick Bowling Green, 'cause they totally rock!"
I love my kid.

No wonder Noah gets along well with Josh and Jake. GREAT story.
I love a happy ending.

Thats funny!!! My nephew and my cousin were playing NCAA this weekend. One choose BG and one choose Boise, out of pure curiosity. Final score, BG 98, Boise 97.
What a score. I would love to see that be the score in a few months. Anyone know what the most combines points are for a game in the modern era, with the play clock, and also 2 point rule installed.

Cool story 87.
Here's a little tidbit from the Warthogs move. The outside of the house is sorta grey and it has shutters. Several people have said you need to paint the the shutters red so it can be OSU colors.
So then I take them up to my boys' room. Orange and brown stripes horizontally around the room and one wall is all brown. Orange sheets and bedspread, orange curtains, poster from last season signed by most of the team framed one wall, big BG pennant, and a wooden helmet the wife picked up on another. Looks pretty sweet.
So if anybody comes by my new place, you can stick your red shutters comments up your a$$.

Not too cool, WH, to have some folks "suggesting" the colors of another school!
The rest of the house sounds excellent!

Well, the basement has the brick-look walls and the previous owner painted the walls red to look like real bricks. We could probably paint them orange and the "mortar" part brown. How's that sound?

Like you're destined to be on "Extreme Home Makeover"! I love it!
