I had heard that, but maybe I am mixing it up with the plans of renaming The Doyt, The Dorf.

Dorf/Perry stadium?

Sounds kinda cheesy like DKR Memorial Stadium....

It wasn't MEANT to be funny. Goodness.
I actually thought they were considering that change, and that Dorf was the name of an alum. I was comparing it to UTexas-Austin's stadium, DKR Memorial(I think I got the initials right)Stadium. I don't like the name, and said it sounds cheesy!

Oh, and if I come off alittle angry, there is some really bad stuff going on right now. They transferred my bestfriend to UC Medical Center today. The ICU at our local hospital couldn't help him, so they sent him there. He has "critical brainswelling" and they don't know why. Any of you doctors out there, they think it might be related to high blood pressure. They discovered a year ago, after he went through Army boot camp that he had it. They discovered the swelling after he collapsed at Kroger last week. My uncle just had his appendix and gall bladder removed, and my sister was broadsided yesterday. Some idiot ran a red light.

TG-I am sorry if you are getting annoyed with me, I am using this to take my mind off of that, and some other things. I apologize, and I'm not trying to make you or anyone feel bad. Just understand and comprehend that this is probably the hardest time I've been through.

That is REALLY good for BSU! They could almost start construction now if they wanted too. If they are that close, by the time they need the money, it would be there! And it will make their stadium more fan friendly(sorta) and nicer.

No more threadjacks.

Sorry about your friend and sister. I hope they pull through (or are all right in your sister's case, I guess).

Annoyed? You're probably about right. Just about the flood of Miami(OH)-ness related to nothing, pretty much. But if its what you need to keep your mind off the other, I'll keep my thoughts on the matter to myself. Best wishes again for the friends/family.

(Oh, and the "Dorf" reference was to BG alum Tim Conway, btw. See? it was funny!)

AHA! I get the Dorf thing now!

(My sister is fine, she has a few bruises, that's it. And Ya don't need to keep your comments to yourself. I have been oozing MOFO(Miami OF Ohio) since I came on here. I'll try to curb that. But, hey, I'm enthusiastic. At least I'm not jumping up and down on couchs and denouncing psychiatry  )

Seriously, when have I ever kept my comments to myself? You've been around long enough to know better.

And I think you just oozed over, that's all.

That should help BSU in recruiting. I never realized how poor their stadium situation was. It is too bad that the Sebo Center is not more conducive to allowing additional seating on the first level. Our stadium keeps getting smaller and other MAC teams' stadiums are all getting larger.

Here is an artist's rendering of Ball State's new press box and suites. I have to say, I like all of the projects they have got going to improve their facilities. It should be a MAC gem when its all completed.

Has anyone actually gone to Ball St. and seen their stadium? It's not all that great. Theyre going to have to do a lot more than add this press box. But theyre heading in the right direction.
