Boys, It Looks I'm Coming Back To Ohio!!!

Well, after spending nearly eight great years working at the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville.....it looks like this Falcon will be spreading his wings and flying back to Ohio. I recently got engaged and the soon to be Mrs. is an attorney in Cleveland. After much debate about us getting in the same place, it looks like I will be the one moving. It's going to be so hard to leave this place, I have fallen in love with Charlottesville and it certainly has become a second home to me. But, I'm also really excited about beginning a new chapter in my life and getting in the same place as my fiancee. And of course, getting closer to BG!!!! :) I'm not really sure what I do as far as a job is considered yet? I'd like to stay in athletics, but if not, maybe there's something up there I can find that I'll enjoy doing that gives me Saturdays off since I do not have that now. Who knows? But we'll be living in Westlake so the drive to BG won't be bad at all.

With that said, I have already purchased BG season tickets for the upcoming season and I have also booked trips for the Wisconsin (flight, hotel, car, tickets) and Ball State (tickets, hotel) games to get the season started - since we don't have a home game until October! None the less, if all goes well with the job search, I plan on attending every BG game this year – except for Boise State and Miami which I can still watch on TV. So to say the least, I am really hoping this season turns out to be as good as we hope and know it can.

Anyway, I'll likely be in Cleveland by mid-August, so it will be nice to finally get to meet and talk with some of you this upcoming season.

GO BG!!!

Thanks '87alum! Funny enough, my soon-to-be sister-in-law is moving to Philadelphia at the end of this month with her husband, so now I'll have a place to crash when BG plays at Temple! I'm always thinking of how this helps with the "BG" side of things! :)

Most excellent news, 33!! I live just south of Akron and there are a ton of Cleve/Akron area folks here. Don't forget about the ones in Ytown like Kdog either!

Congrats on the engagement and my hope and prayer for you and your future wife is a long, happy, successful life together.

I used to work in Rock Radio and now work for an electronics distributor in Independence. Make decent money, benefits are very good, 40 hours a week....no more, no less. Is it a glamor job? Heck no. I don't particularly care for the work BUT Saturdays and Sundays are always mine. They did try to schedule a mandatory Sat meeting last fall but, heh heh heh, the Freaklings and I were outta state for the CMU game. Please, don't even think about trying that again. I think we may be hiring if ya need something in a pinch. But then again, why not be Peter Gibbons? "I don't think I want another job". Office Space rules.

Anyway, will be cool to have ya around here. And it's great you'll be able to attend almost every game. 2006 is shaping up to be one I might be able to make every game. Wisky, Boise and Miami are out for me this year....but on ESPN. I'll turn the volume on the TV down and crank Todd, Gibby and Aaron on the radio. That's the way to do it.

Congrats again and I look forward to meeting you and your fiancee soon.

There are like no BGSU alums in this area. At least it seems that way. I see a BG sticker on a car about once a month.

Kdog... I'm here in Warren. There are two or three others that I went to high school and BG with, so there are a couple around here.

PM me sometime if you'd like to get together and hang out. Same goes for you too Freak!
