What happened to Nick Thurman? I remember him playing football and baseball at BG. Now he's not on either roster.

If I recall correctly, Nick left the University's athletic programs, possibly following academic issues.

I googled Nick Thurman. A LHP named Nick Thurman was released by the Kalamazoo Kings of the Frontier League back on May 20th. BG's Nick Thurman was a lefty...

I thought he transferred to Florida A&M? For some reason I think this, but I checked their roster and he is not on it. Anyone else remember anything like that?

I saw the same exact thing. This is odd for a guy who was projected to be drafted in the top 15 rounds coming out of HS. It's too bad that he couldn't make it academically. Although we have Jacobs and Turner, he may have been able to contribute at another position. It was said he was good at defense in HS, a hard hitter.
