I guess this doesn't change anything, since he wasn't going to play the season anyway. but if his intentions we're noble as they may seem, I can give him the respect for taking resonsivility for his actions.

We'll see what the jury says.

I thought this was old news? Though I never heard it called "road rage", I thought they already knew he wasn't playing.

This is old news unless it was not "official" when he said it a few weeks ago.

It is old news. A very unfortunate situation. He will remain on scholarship but not play until his legal issues (one way or another) are settled. The procecuting attorney is calling it road rage by both cars. The defense claims that Cam Hall was another victim of the main car in the accident. We will all know more after the trial. The only thing that is known for sure is that one young family is dead and several other lives are ruined.

Sad situation

I don't know what his status with the team and/or university was prior to this news story.... But I'll give the young man credit for withdrawing himself from the team situation in terms of possible distractions etc.
But our friend from Boise is correct...lives have been ruined forever..and that's the truly sad part to this whole story.
