Paper Lion

My dad just showed me a few clips from the 1968 movie "Paper Lion," about the Detroit Lions' football camp. There is a scene where the veteran players make each of the new recruits stand up on a chair and sing his fight song, and one of the guys sang Ay Zig!! What's really neat about that is that the guy who sang it actually was a BG football player- Mike Weger, DB.
I can't remember if it was in this forum or the marching band forum, but a while back there was a question as to whether it is "fight for BGSU" or "win for BGSU." Well, Weger sang "fight," and I'm inclined to go with a 37-year-old movie (besides the fact that fight just sounds better than win, anyway).
Later on in the movie, a bunch of the guys are drunkenly stumbling home, and they do an entertainingly effective job of turning Ay Zig into a drinking song- with one revision: "roll along, you mangy warriors!!"
After I saw it, I immediately thought of you guys.
