Bowling Green/MAC Movie Trivia

This is not really football related, but I knew it would get noticed here quickly. I was watching the movie Prefontaine the other day and noticed one of the runners in a race scene had a Bowling Green jersey on. I also remember watching the movie Three Kings and there was a reference made by a guy that someone (his uncle or something) went to Bowling Green, which I assume meant BGSU. I was wondering if any of you knew of any other Bowling Green references in any movies scenes or movies for that matter? The only other MAC school off the top of my head that I can think of that came up in a movie was Ball State in Close Encounters....there was a Ball State pennant on the wall in a house and they had a scene that said Muncie, Indiana.

Little Man Tate is set on the Campus of Miami University and they use Alumni Hall, Uphan Hall, a bar uptown, and the ACACIA house all as backdrops for scenery.

Follow up question. Does anyone know who that BGSU runner is?

Most likely Dave Wottle, I'd guess.

Oh, I couldn't tell if you were asking a trivia question or out of curiosity.
Interestingly enough, looking into it a little more after my response, I found this interesting tidbit from runningpast.com:
"What is Steve Prefontaine's personal best for the 1 mile run?"
The answer is: 3:54.6. Steve Prefontaine finished second to Dave Wottle in his fastest mile race at Eugene, Oregon on June 20, 1973. Wottle won with a 3:53.3 clocking.

No I did not know that was him and as an avid runner I am a little embarrassed.

A lot of times the prop guys will put in their Alumni garb in scenes like that to get the name out there. I remember VH1's "Best Year Ever" had a scene to give an award to the best Normal Guy or something. One of the "candidates" was wearing a BG trucker hat.
