July 25, 26 in Detroit. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict Coach Brandon took Omar Jacobs with him.
40 days....

Well Freak, you'd be wrong. PJ Pope makes the trip because Jacobs is mentoring some kids at a football clinic.

yea, I would have guessed he would take a senior or something. Do they only get to bring one player? The ACC just had their media day, and each team brought and offensive and defensive player.

Makes some sense. P.J. deserves more pub than he gets, and the rest of the league knows full well about Omar, anyway.

Probably a dumb question (I'm famous for those around these parts...), but why is the MAC media day being held in Detroit? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to have them in Cleveland where the MAC offices are?

Probably just more centralized. They were in Toledo for awhile in the early 90's.
Where in Detroit are they located? Showing off Ford Field or having it as a backdrop might be an attraction, too.

does it rotate? I know the ACC had it at the homestead this year, last year I believe it was in Charlotte or somewhere else.

Detroit is being used for a number of reasons...
1) To announce the college football pass... MAC Championship, Motorcity bowl, and the Directional Michigan game.
2) To promote the Big 10/MAC new football agreement... rumor has it this is huge for the conference.
3) To promote on an individual level the Motor City Bowl and the MAC Championship

I think the football media days have been in Detroit or Pontiac pretty much every year since the Motor City Bowl was founded. Usually, they have it in or near the stadium.
