Random Quotes From the atlantafalcons web page:

1-"Cole Magner, too. Call him Sunshine or whatever you want, just don't call him soft. The man can flat play the game. The gutsy wonder from Bowling Green ran a post-corner in one-on-ones against Allen Rossum and Rossy was with him all the way, but Sunshine had the last laugh, boxing out Rossum as he leapt on the three-yard line to gain possession.

Team photographer Jimmy Cribb got a great shot of it. Check it out in today's photo gallery Magner's grab is photo 17."

2-"The early catch of practice: WR Cole Magner, pitted against Kevin Mathis in one on one drills, ran a comeback sideline route on the left sideline with Mathis in his hip pocket the entire time. The ball was released and went outside the sideline, making it so Magner had to stretch out, getting full extension to come up with the snag while impressively keeping his feet in bounds."

3-"WR Cole Magner caught the ball exceptionally well in practice Thursday morning, making one spectacular catch when he leaped in the end zone on a post-corner route, out-dueling CB Allen Rossum for the snag and the simulated score."

4-"Cole Magner -- the dude catches everything. I mean, everything. In one-on-one work, he lays out on a 10-yard out, coming up with low grab by rotating his entire body. His next chance? Runs a fly route down the right sideline, gets position on cornerback James Thornton, the throw from Vick is placed high, he leaps and grabs it. He's making a case for himself. We'll see how he plays when the "live bullets" are flying."

From the fan message board on Atlantafalcons.com:

1-"On Saturday evening I noticed Kerry Johnson and Cole Magner, too. Of course, I noticed Cole first because of his long blond hair as he walked out of the indoor facility and across the field. (It's a woman thing) Then I saw him make several really nice catches."

2-"I went up once last week. Cole Magner looked pretty slick, although only practicing with the 3rd squad, he was the guy Ty Detmer's eyes followed every play."

3-"Among the rookie WR's trying to make the team, Number 15, Cole Magner was impressive. Great hands, good speed and good routes. It looks like we have some guys listed ahead of him on the depth chart, but all of them dropped balls Saturday. It would be nice to add SOMEBODY to Crumpler that can consistantly catch the ball.

4-"Magner needs to develop some muscle mass before he ever takes a meaningful snap, but he seems to work hard, run good routes, and has soft hands...NFLE."

Looks like he is being noticed.

From training camp notes.
WR Cole Magner made two of the better catches of practice during one-on-one work, first diving to catch a 10-yard out, rotating his body as he dove to keep his hands off the ground and to secure the catch. His next rep, he was step for step with CB James Thornton down the right sideline, Vick lofted the ball between the two and Magner leaped and came up with the rock in mid-air above the end zone, touching his feet down in pay dirt.

That is pretty much the cole magner I remember. "catch's everything". I sure hope he makes it, he was a great kid. It's was to bad he had that lingering toe injury all last year, that boy knows the game.

At this point, a ST opportunity seems very possible with maybe being 4 or 5 on the WR depth chart. That's how you have to earn your spot when your not a top pick.

Cole runs the best routes of any WR we've had here in the past 5 years. Combine that with good size, great agility, and hands of glue, I really don't see why he couldn't have a good career as a 3rd/4th WR for an NFL team. I'd take him on my team any day.

Your an idiot. :D

Per the Atanta roster, #19 is Kendrick Mosley, WR, from Western Michigan. So maybe the person who wrote the caption is the real idiot.
