Of course you can track players from other schools as well. (For those Miami and other tag alongs on the board.

Personally, I like Bowling Green University better. I always though the word State (unless it was used with an actual state name like Ohio State, Michigan State, etc.) sounded a little cheapish. It's also one of the reasons why schools like Memphis State and Troy State dropped the word state from their name to become Memphis and Troy. I'm not attacking BG or trying to stir the pot, I'm just giving my opinion, and one I recognize I'm probably alone on.

Wow, I thought I was alone on that opinion. I guess there's two of us.

I'm partial to Bowling Green State University, but if your going to change the name, then I like the University of Bowling Green.

The "State' part of the name was always meant to reflect funding sources, and BG received a great deal of funding from the state of Ohio. However, if Ohio keeps going the way they are and continue to cut higher education funding, I see no reason as to why a name change couldn't occur. In fact, it might be fitting to more properly reflect funding conditions in Ohio.

What is the big deal with that?

Have you ever said or written Kent St, Ball St, Ohio St, Youngstown St, Penn St, or Michigan St.(the list goes on and on) without university at the end? Everyone has.

The list isn't always up to the minute, but it is a good start and better than what NFL.com has in terms of being able to search for players by college, which the NFL site doesn't even have.

We should keep this up near the top so we know when guys get dropped.

I think it looks very bleak for harris and baby or not think he should have gone to Europe.

It isn't like BGU is completely foreign to our history. Nate thurmond's jersey had BGU on it if I am correct...

I do like U of BG...

But I like the new Falcon logo too.
