I've never seen the other guy play. Stocco is awful though, I'm hoping that he is the starter. If we struggle against him it will be a LONG year for our defensive backs, because he could probably not start for most of the MAC teams we'll play.

please oh PLEASE let stocco get the majority of the snaps. He was one of the worst QB's I saw play last year -- and that's out of about 60 or 70 games I watched featuring most of D-1. He is the one of the main reasons I am so confident of our chances at CR. Their offense, which is an extension of Stocco, scares me about as much as OSU's did in 2003 -- which is not at all. If this other kid plays, I'll be a little less confident.

I've seen both play.
Donovan, not as much, but I saw him play a few snaps when Stocco was 'hurt', and I do know some people who watched him play in high school. Donovan is a pure runner. He is fast and shifty! Last year when he got in he looked panicy though and often just wanted to scramble. Definately not a dangerous down the field passer.
Stocco can go down the field and definately has better arm strength. His accuracy is shaky, but he seems to be one of those guys who can get the job done if he stays within the system and has his confidence going that game.
Both are below average big 10 qbs in my and most peoples opinions.

Well, I don't really know who to hope it will be at QB for Wisky. This QB situation kind of reminds me of heading into the Northern Illinois game last year. We thought we were catching a break when NIU's Josh Haldi missed the game (they weren't sure all week if he was going to play) and when he didn't play, all his replacement Phil Horvath did simply play a very solid game, probably the best of his season, and RB Garrett Wolfe just torched us all day long in the second half as we got beat. Prior to the game I was hoping Haldi wouldn't play, but afterward, I was second guessing that thought. So I have come to expect this – no matter who Wisconsin plays or starts, I expect them to play very well against us.
