I saw him three or four times standing behind coach Marty in the fourth quarter but I did not see him in action at all. He was wearing #63. I did not watch at all before the fourth quarter however so hopefully he got some playing time earlier than that? Thanks!!

Scott had some considerable time on camera by himself in the third when Theisman and McGuire, I think, were talking about San Diego's past offensive line problems and how they took a number of picks the past two years and have really improved. I didn't watch the game to closely, so other than that camera time and comments, I can't attest to anymore.

I kept switching between the Indians (six in a row!) and the football game. Scott played with the second unit at RG.

I saw one running play and I appeard Scott had all but "pancaked" his man, ending on top of him. On a pass play he never let his man get off the line of scrimmage. He appeared to be playing guard and did not play more that a couple series but did well as far as my untrained eyes could tell.

I saw that play as well. Like WH, I was flipping back and forth from the football game and the Indians game.

That was a very nice pass by Rivers.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see much of Scott. I didn't know what his number was. I was watching for him, but I was looking at center, didn't realize they had made him a guard. If I see another SD preseason game I'll keep my eyes open for #63.
No doubt in my mind that Scott is starting NFL guard material. Maybe not now, but in the future. At the very least his versatility will ensure him a roster spot for years to come. Coaches LOVE backup OL guys that can play multiple OL positions.
