From the Baltimore Sun:

... The Ravens re-signed veteran special teams standout Harold Morrow only four days after releasing him. They have cut quarterback Josh Harris but intend to sign him to the practice squad as early as today if he clears waivers. The Ravens have only two healthy quarterbacks on the roster (starter Kyle Boller and backup Kordell Stewart). ...

I want to wish Josh the best of luck in all that he does. He deserves to be in the NFL!

That's too bad.

Sounds like they think he may not clear waivers, which is a good sign.

Josh will play somewhere... practice squad, NFL Europe, somewhere. He's got too much potential to be ignored.

Keep working hard J5! It will pay off. Like SF said, Harris has too much talent not to play professionally.

This move sounds supiciously like the Cavs/Boozer transaction. We want you around, but at a much cheaper price then what you are currently signed for. I hope somebody else claims Harris and he moves on to a different organization.

I'd say skip the practice squad and see if you can get someone else. I'd love for Steve McNair to take him under his wings...they have a similar style of play.

I'm hoping he lands with the Bears, I'm a HUGE Bears fan and we need help everywhere. I'll take Josh Harris in a heartbeat.

In a perfect world, the Browns would pick him up and Garcia would help develop him...Well...I can hope.

I thought that too originally, but Luke McCown is the real deal. He's bigger & faster than J5. He's also got a stronger arm. He just needs to fill out some bulk and learn to read a defense. He's a project as well, but he's clearly further along than Harris, and also looks to have superior physical talent, which is saying something.

I wish J5 well, and hope he gets the heck outta Baltimore, but I think Cleveland will be just fine without him.

Metz, I agree with you. He and Steve McNair would be a force! But, I will be happy with him playing anywhere...and wherever he plays, I'll be watching those games!

Good luck Josh!!!
