Most of the weekend updates are up, mostly layout and graphics. XtotheZ provided the page templates and graphics. More to come on an ongoing basis now that the season is near.
Submissions, graphical, textual, otherwise are welcome.

lookin very nice!
heres some of my ideas that i just thought of:
- i would move the whole page down a bit, so that its not right up against the top of the browser. something sort of like bgsu.edu
- althought the title of the website is self explanatory, i would give a litte introduction as to what the site is all about, and what you're trying to accomplish
- emphasive the jacobs4.heisman logo a bit more. im not quite sure what it needs, but it looks someone bland. maybe a little depth or shadow to it or something.
- maybe a flash intro page with some cool music and fast moving graphics. maybe like flash his stats in there inbetween images... just something that would wow people the first time they come to the site.
- i dont know if its possible, but is there anyway to get the blog into the template of the actual page?
- on the other pages (stats, images, etc) i would put the orange border like there is on the main page, instead of just the solid orange bar at the bottom.
- also on those pages, something needs to go on the left hand side. i dont know if it should be some sort of navigation bar, or a picture, but it just seems so empty. maybe u could to a different picture of omar on each page.
- i think it'd be great if someone could design like a pdf flyer for the heisman campaign that people could print out. this way people could post up flyers about the website and omar around bg and get more people involved.
thats all i can think of right now, but im sure somethinw ill come across my mind later
again these are just my ideas, so dont take it as criticism.. i think the site looks great and im glad some people are stepping up to get the job done. i'm sure omar will appreciate it!

One suggestion I have is to change "the blog" to "news". Sure, we all know what a blog is here, but once the season starts heating up, you could seriously start to expect journalists who might not be as web savvy as your typical forum poster. Besides, when I think of a blog, I think of a personal journal or someones musings on events...to me it implies opinion and not statements of facts backing the claim that Omar is worthy of being a Heisman candidate.
