New sound system?

Has anyone heard the new sound system yet from the new videoboard? The old one was about as bad as it could get, but I was wondering if anyone has heard them test the new one yet, and if so, how did it sound?

I heard it yesterday. They had the Falcon Logo up on it with flames going in the background so it was making a burning sound. To be honest, it kind of sounded like TV static. It was a lot louder and clearer though than it has been in past years so I'm sure voices won't be too screwed up on it.

I'll be happy if he gets the down and yards-to-go correct.
After more than 35 years of dealing with that old glorified Light-Bright and Lost-In-Space computer, the new system must have the operator rocking back and forth muttering "happy place" about now.
All this and new band uniforms. Too much man, I'm going to pop a vein or something.

Let me tell you from personal experience right now at my place of employment. New & Better does not necessarily mean users who are VERY set in their ways will prefer it!

The Falcon Plaza message sign tonight says "Come here Thom Willett shout 'Another Falcon First Down'..." So I guess the announcer is Thom Willett. That's all I know.
