I see that the Falcons played the Titans tonight. Looks like Cole had 4 balls thrown to him on Atlanta's last drive: 2 receptions for 18 yards, 1 for no gain, and an incompletion. Stats don't show any punt returns or kick off returns.
Anyone see the game and/or have any info to report? I'm hoping he played more than the last drive.

According to the message boards on atlantafalcons.com, he didn't get any first half action (and the posters aren't happy about it).
They claim that the incompletion was a blown pass interference call.

No kick returns, and Atlanta only had 100 yards passing roughly, but Cole was the yardage leader amongst their wide receivers!!! Only a RB had more yards receiving.
The stat-line had him at 2 catched for 18 yards with a long reception of 14 yards.

he would have had another 12 yards...but some moron was holding some one and it was a null play.

It will be tough for anyone on that team to put up big numbers receiving. Atlanta just does not have a very good passing game. For all his talent, Michael Vick is not a good passer. Kind of reminds me of Vince Young, the quarterback from Texas. Still, all in all I imagine last night did nothing but help Cole's chances. I can see him being a Brian Brennan (from the Browns back in the 80's and early 90's) type receiver with a bit more speed and size.

Hopefully, he will get a shot with the first team next Thursday against Jacksonville. FYI, it is on ESPN.

Lots of Cole mentions in a thread from message board on ESPN.com:

Its a little disappointing to see that Cole hasn't gotten in the games any eariler. In his latested press conference, Mora talked about getting the "first four receivers" who are in "heavy competition" more reps in the next game (Jacksonville). It seems that Cole isn't one of those four.
