Today's Cleve. Plain Dealer had a brief section on the upcoming High School season (tomorrow will be a full section prevue)...but WR Tyrone Pronty (6', 175) from Maple Hts. supposedly recently gave an oral commitment to BG. His coach, Jeff Rotsky, calls him, " Cleveland's best kept secret"..... interesting....Maple has become a power since Rotsky took over, has had several D-1 players graduate in past few yrs.

when does the season start...who is up for tracking these players through the year?

On a related note, the Akron Beacon Journal has its HS preview in today's paper. The Journal ain't what it used to be but they do cover HS football pretty well.
They list a D back, Drew Kuhn outta Lousiville, 5'11", 175, with strong interest from BG....also West Virginia and Kent State. His teammate, Austin Power (I kid you not, that is his real name!), is a LB at 5'10", 220. The BJ states this about his size...and I quote:
"Has Big 10 ability, but MAC size"
Other than that, very good HS preview.
