...at 5:20pm on the Kenny Roda show. WKNR and their sister station carry the Falcons in the Cleveland market.
WKNR is not available to listen to on-line at this time. Sorry, out of towners.

I called the show on Monday to ask about Omar and the USA Today article. BG and the MAC have such a large number of alumni and the sports stations here act as if BG was in another state sometimes. They need to talk more about the MAC.
I will listen today.

I don't leave work until 5:30....here in Cleveland!!!! I may have to call the Road Man when I get home to see if he'll replay it.
Dang.
Maybe they won't start until 5:30! Or maybe I'll just walk out to my car in 10 minutes anyway. Fire me, I don't care. Falcon Football must come first before any job!

The interview was taped earlier in the week and replayed today.
Overall, I'd say that Omar came across very well. I'm totally drawing a blank on the questions, but I want to say that Kenny didn't ask the questions I was expecting. It was interesting even if you weren't a MAC or BG fan.
Omar did comment on how he wanted to improve on his mechanics: hitting his receivers in the hands, throwing better balls, making the right reads...

I only caught the last question and answer. Something about the Heisman.
You might want to try
www.sportstalkcleveland.com. Sometimes they archive these interviews and you can listen to them.
Omar sounded very team oriented and gave lots of credit to the cast of players.
Now, we'll find out just how much Kenny and WKNR are gonna follow BG and the MAC. It's one thing to talk it up for one day but let's keep it going all season. The Buckeyes get enough coverage.
God, I hope Miami beats OSU.
GO FALCONS!!

Well, we can all do our part. If we call with those kind of questions and get on the air, then I guess he's have to answer them. It's caller-oriented radio. If he starts getting bombarded with MAC and BG questions, all the better. They'll be on TV at least four times this year, and he admitted to having a TiVo unit.
FYI, Kenny is now a voting member of the Harris Interactive BCS poll. He says that he'll be watching as much college football (TiVo) as he can this year.

The interview was good. Omar sounded very humble and team-oriented. Very impressive.
Roda is usually up OSU's butt so it was surprising to hear him interview Jacobs AND Josh Cribbs on the same day. He did mention they're going to cover the MAC more often...
I called in just to say thanks for the MAC coverage as they have received a few emails from me due to what I saw as a lack of MAC support in the past year.
