The announcers just guessed 22,000 to 24,000 are there tonight.
The only reason this surprises me is the way you guys were moaning and groaning this week.I figured 20,000 or so all along.
This is great!

It was a great crowd. Every bit of 23,000! I was impressed. Great game experience!

for sure, I echo that Ziggy. . .
West side of the stands were 85-90% full for kick off , and the East side filled in nicely by the mid of the first quarter...
Heading in I would have been very happy with 20K, and was expecting 17K. . . . Great crowd and pre-game folks in the parking lot. . .
p.s. if you stole my flags, please return them... thank you!!

I predicted 21,938 in the attendance thread. I forgot the bathrooms, falcon club tent and the concesion stands. I'll do better next time.

In the post game notes, Coach Brandon talked about the lift coming out and seeing the big crowd.
Getting a nice crowd for a "minor" opponent is a big step for our program, and the guys earned it. We will have "made" it when we get 23,000 for a Kent State game when the temp is below 40!

I am pleased that everyone underestimated the crowd.
