I believe those are the throwbacks they are wearing for the BG game, not their "regular" unis.

No, BG will not be in throwbacks.

Those unis don't look too bad. The helmets are way too old school for me, though.

Jerseys and pants are fine, helmets are a different story.

The helmets are from the 1960-66 seasons, and are being used to commemorate the 1963 Rose Bowl team.

Eh, we could just wear our "scrimmage" gear which are the former Uni's from the 02-03 season. That throwback enough for you?

Oh, how I do love the classics. I like the Wisky uni's, but I'm old school and 'un-cool'.

BG hasn't had an opportunity to wear throwbacks (money being the primary consideration). Initially, I hated the idea of spray painting the silhouette of a falcon on the side of a helmet. But once I drank in the history behind it, I now would LOVE to see that happen.

One of the first logos to be applied to the side of a helmet, kids.

At least Wisconsin's uniforms will bring the same amount of excitement to their fanbase as their offense will

Then again, Mayberry and Jordan have made a lot of career days for opponents.

Here's to pulling Antonio Smith's redshirt and any other DB that can recognize a go-route.

Those helmets are sweet but than again Penn State's uniforms are my cup of tea.

I didn't leave work until 9:30pm (yes PGY I worked late for once) and I just now got the chance to sit down and read some of the threads. I know, I know, I'm slacking. In one sense though I'm being my usual obsessive compulsive self. In another sense, I'm trying to help by bring an old thread to light that had a decent discussion on the throwback uniforms. You know me kdog, always trying to be helpful.

The UW unis used in the game will be auctioned off.

I forget who or what benefits.

I do like the 'W' on the socks. Maybe we could get the Falcon logo on ours?
