We'll be there Friday mid afternoon looking for the Orange and Brown. Brats on State street is a good bar. Any other ideas?

I will be in town Friday afternoon working on a conference paper and can meet you guys somewhere.
Brats is a great idea, I can show you a couple other places as well. I can give you my cell # and/or email.

Send me an email and I will reply with my cell phone number. I look forward to meeting many Falcons, especially the AZZ posters I haven't met yet.

Brianthedog-
Any good ideas for a parking lot to tailgate in? We have a group of 4-5 cars that would like to get together pregame. I am looking at a diagram, and Lot 34 looks like a possibility. Any ssuggestions? What time do we need to get there to get a decent spot on Saturday morning?

I've always been more of a pre-game bar crawl guy, actually. The Stadium Bar, the Big 10 Pub, and the Regent Street Retreat open at 8am on Saturday. All are good options. If you get there early enough , you can park at the Frances Street ramp, which is a nice hike from Camp Randall, but is literally next door to State Street Brats, Wando's and the Red Shed. I plan on getting there about 7:30 or so.
Lot 34 might be a possibility. If you don't mind, I can check and post back later in the week--remind me.

I'll be decked out in BG gear on Friday, be sure to ask if you see people if they post!
On gameday I'll be in my #33 jersey with POPE on the back and rocking my new orange and brown adidas shoes!
Be sure to say hello!

I haven't yet found the preferred IPA Brian. Check the BM Board for info on the tailgate. I will have your fermented malt beverage. 98 years and counting

Thanks--will do.
Dayon,
About the beers--I'm not sure about the BC one, but I've never seen Boulevard here. Good stuff, one of the only positives of previously living in Iowa.

SW Mich Falcon: are you perchance heading to Wisonsin on the Lake Express? If so, my son and I will see you there.
Also, is the Sheraton near Brat's and other Madison bars? Want to go to the Falcon Club thing there Friday night. Also, are many of you planning to go to Fluno for the Sat. a.m. breakfast?

Dave,
Unfortunately, our voyage on the Lake Express was postponed for another occasion. To bad, good weather and the "cruise" woulda been fun. You guys will have a smooth sail. Glad to hear you're going. I'll buy ya a beer! We'll be driving from GR. Still trying to get Lindahl to go along. Brat's is not near the Sheraton (3 mi) but we will see you at the Falcon Club party Friday night at 9pm at the Sheraton. The pre-game at the Fluno is not planned, but the bus from BG/Sheraton might drop you off there. The Sheraton also has a shuttle that gets you as close as possible on game day. I might skip the $25 breakfast and have kahlua & coffee prior to beer and brats. Try to make the pub crawl prior to the Friday night Sheraton bash if possible. Email me for my cell phone number. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
Roll along!....

Where did you livei n Iowa? I went to college in Mt. Vernon and lived in Des Moines for two years.
I am staying at the Sheraton, will probably be at the Falcon Club thing on Friday night.
As for Saturday though, I want to experience Madison around the Wisconsin fans, not be in a hotel with other falcons, if that makes sense. .
TG- you better look me up, man!

Just a phrase that seems to describe my homecoming experiences. I hope to meet you in Madison. Make sure you tell this T.G. (me) where the other T.G. (you) will be Friday afternoon. Email me for cell phone. I'm off to Alpena for a couple days. Back on Wednesday.
Roll Along...

Of the 2 people I'm going with, one is 21, and the other 19. Doesn't look like I'll be able to bar hop with the rest of you but enjoy, and don't forget about the game!!!
