Remember when our previous head coach left?
I can remember tossing Jerry Glanville's name around and thinking -- well, shoot, he ain't gonna coach at Bowling Green, not after all the work he did in the NFL and all that.
Well, he finally got another job. He's an assistant with June Jones in Hawaii.

And, from the sound of things, Bowling Green never gave him a call.
Now, of course, we are doing fine in the coaching department, thank you very much.
And it isn't like Bowling Green can offer what Hawaii offers (unless the lawn outside MacDonald Quadrangle in April counts).
But you gotta appreciate a guy who got into coaching to raise dough after blowing the engine of his brother's car at a National Hot Rod Assocation event.
It would have been fun to have Glanville around. Unsuccessful, maybe, but fun.
