I knew that helmet looked a little odd, other than the obvious orange Falcon symbol. One of the stickers on the helmet is on backwards!

I hope that logo isn't a sign of things to come. With all the people who have trouble seeing what it is when its BROWN with no white, that orange on orange is gonna give 'em fits!!

it appears the helmet is a browns helmet with the mock BG stickers on it. It would be a great item, although im not a fan of the new falcon stickers. we need to keep with the brown falcon on teh orange background. no white

It's probably a Cleveland Browns helmet and someone added a Falcon window sticker on it.

The players shouldn't have signed that crap. How little thought was put into creating those helmets. I hope no one buys them. Colors wrong! Stickers backwards.

I also bet the players were "told" to sign. I believe proceeds go back to the program. If it means the football team getting much need $$, sign the darn thing. I actually want one for myself.

I don't think so.

The Athletic Department has set-up an eBay account and has auctioned off items in the past.

Take a look at that helmet again, and you can tell that it's not a "replica" helmet (as advertised). One look at the side of the helmet and you can tell that.

I don't mind someone auctioning off their items, but at least have an actual helmet if you'e going to get them to sign the thing.

The look of the helmet leads me to believe this wasn't one of the official University auctions. Orange falcon head, one of them facing backwards? I'd like to think that if the athletic department was doing this to raise money (which is a really good idea that they're doing this), they'd have paid at least *a little* attention to detail.
