I sit here, with 12 and change to go, BG now down by 21, and I can honestly say that this has been the most pathetic job of defensive coaching that I have ever seen. The WHOLE game, we have gone with a 4/3 set and guess what? The WHOLE game, Wisconsin has crammed the ball down our throat. How bout a couple of run blitzes? How bout bringing the safeties up for run support. We don't have a chance when our front 7 are outweighed by 50#'s per man. Hope nobody from Turdledo or Miami is watching this game.

Wisconsin was not going to pass the ball until we stopped their running game. I would have put 9 guys in the box and made Stocco throw it. It is as if we were waiting for Wisconsin to make a mistake rather than us trying to make something happen.

completely unacceptable that we refused to adjust. it was blatantly obvious to everyone in the stadium that a stretch play was coming EVERY PLAY.

It's possible that adjustments wouldn;t have helped the way they were pushing us around but it's the coaches job to put the players in a position to succeed and lovett failed miserably. I am extremely disappointed as I expected him to have a major positive effect on our D. I'm not going to write him off after his first game with not much time to get acclimated to our program, but it certainly wasn't a promising first step/
