Is it me, or is Cole startign to become victim of the Tyler Masters effect? He is having a helluvatime catching the ball so far this year. Maybe he needs to get a 74th year of elligibility that so many other players are able to get now a days.

Cole will be Just Fine...

the broken toe is probably getting in his head. Hopefully, he'll do some heeling with this bye week. We need all of our horses healthy for the NIU game.

We noticed the same thing. He had a couple drops, and isn't the force he usually is.

First I've heard about a broken toe, though.

Im sorry, but the toe has nothing to do with his hands. If he runs slow, fine, if he isnt as athletic, fine. But he is droppign balls that hit him int he hands, chest hihg. There is no reason for this. I couldnt do better, so I'll shut up, but I hope its just somethign mental from the toe, and it will go away.

I think you're wrong when you say the toe has nothing to do with catching the ball. When you're an athlete at this level, every part of your body works together to do what you do so well. If one part isn't up to snuff, it can affect EVERYTHING. Think about your toes...they give you ballance, they give you thrust to jump, they give you that first step and the cut-ability... Are those things related to catching the ball, no...not directly, but when you've got the skills Cole has, it's not just your hands.

He was limping visibly...he wasn't returning kicks...he's obviously hurting. This stretch of down time will be great for him and we'll see the old Cole Magner at NIU!!

Actually I was shocked that Cole even played against SEMO. I can understand him playing in the Oklahoma game. Being the gamer that Cole is, I can understand him wanting to be on the field for ANY game.

I just felt that with this injury and not being able to get the jump he needs when going for some of the SPECTACULAR catches he makes.

Take it easy the next few weeks Cole. We need you against NIU!

hey, i included a disclaimer. I said that i understand affectign athletisism, but it doesnt effect him closing his hands around the ball if he is in position. I love Cole, and I know he'll be fine, I'm jsut kinda worried..... after all, hes one of the top players ont eh team.

Kylie is so much cuter than Danii Minogue.

Appropros of nothing, how many Paris Hilton wannabees were in attendance last night? I counted at least three girls who were going for the same look as the emaciated star of TV, fashion and porno spam e-mails. When Miami Vice was a hit, my buddies and I had a drinking game. When ever a guy walked by trying to look like Don Johnson, you had to do a shot.

I spent most of 1985 and 1986 seriously plowed as aresult...

Who's complaining about that!?

I don't think it's entirely Magner's catching ability. Teams know his skills and seem to be double teaming him a lot more than last year. Yeah that sucks for him but Mr. Sharon is getting open more often and I will not complain about that. The more Hawkins, Sanders, Lett, and even McGrady all step up and show why we have the 3rd best receiving core in the nation, the more teams will have to stop double covering Cole. As his foot gets better and the season continues, there will be TDs going to receivers all over the field. I have no doubts!
