The loss (we'll get to that in a moment)

Because of expectations, mine, ours, national media etc.... this was perhaps the most disappointing loss for the program, from my humble opinion. My expectations were high, probably to high for BG football 2005, to be hones I was thinking BCS Buster. Granted the secondary goal to win the MAC is still a huge goal to have and a possibility, as long as we don't face any teams that have any running backs and we don't face any 1st and goals from the one with time running out instead of throwing the ball(okay a couple of cheap shots from frustration). But besides the embarrasing blow out loss in the 1985 Raisin Bowl, thanks to Denny I can't wait six days to take my next job Stoltz, this game was the biggest disappointment, but not an embarrassment.
Omar was marvelous, amazing, a true Heisman candidate. The offensive line was terrific. Any time you score 49 points you expect to win. We haven't been able to stop a great runner in the last four years and thats what happened today. It seemed to me that we did a better job tackling last year against Oklahoma, gang tackling, swarming etc... The offensive line for Wisconsin was unbelievable. We have a long way to go and BG handled itself with pride and I'm proud to be a member of the Falcon Faithful. Best of luck the rest of the way, I'll be right there cheering on the team.
