Given that our defense is, ahem, less then stellar, I was thinking this is going to mean that Omar is going to have to play alot more in the second half this season. Last season, he probably "missed" about the equivalent of three games because the games were over at halftime. Now I am not saying that all our games are gonna be close, but if our defense allows others teams to hang around, we will have to keep sending Omar our there to put up some more points. Can you imagine his stats if that happens?
Can he throw 60 TD passes (especially if PJ is hurt and misses significant time. Not a knock on Lane, but I just think we might throw more if Pope is out.)
How about 5,000 yards?

yea Omar should have bigger numbers this year if our D continues to play like that!
