Starting NT for them is 6'4 and 310. http://gofrogs.collegesports.com/sports ... ell00.html
This guy is their smallest starting DT.

This kind of interior d-line allowed them to get the OK's qb multiple times and causing turnovers.

The whole roster TCU roster.

Although TCU is a mid-major by most standereds, their defensive line doesnt resemble most mid-majors at all except maybe Utah.

Just mystified at how a fellow mid-major like TCU can get the big guys for a tough ,physical d-line but we can't or won't maybe. Does TCU have something we don't? :? Just wondering.

Yeah, they do have something we don't Falconboy - that "T" in their name stands for Texas. Big dumb kids are easy to come by down there...

let's give lovett some time to recruit. We are all aware that our front seven is severely undersized. Please no more sky is falling posts about the size of the d-line. We know. It isn't going to change for a year or two at the earliest. Get used to it.

Toledo starting NT is 6-4, 292 pounds. Our D-Line goes like this:

6-2, 287
6-4, 292
6-5, 272

While I expect our defense to be much better this year, we are not going to be a dominating defense like TCU. Size isn't everything.

well, i don't think it can get much worse. and i'm not saying that to be a wiseass. i really mean it. teams like bg and ut, with their ever growing national profile, can only get better overall, and especially in terms to team defense. with so many more kids, and good football players, being exposed to bgsu, ut, boise, etc., we can only assume that pretty soon, while we'll be able to score 45+ points per game, we wont have to week in and week out beacuse our defenses are stronger.
