What does Brandon do with Omar in blowouts?

I've been wondering this for quite some time now, and I really don't think I've seen the question posed here yet.

When we're in a game where we are up B!G at halftime (and we'll be in more than I couple this year, I'd wager), does coach leave Omar in or pull him so as not to appear to be trying to run up the score? If this staff is trying to get attention not only for Omar, but the program itself, I say no. The more gaudy the numbers Omar and the offense puts up this year, the more attention everyone gets.

Last year I don't think it would have been the right thing to do given the fact that Omar was still being broken in, and was actually broken himself (well, his toes, that is). This year, however, I say let the horses loose and see what happens.

I also realize that injury is a potential concern, but in my mind Omar has proven that he is smart enough to stay out of trouble.

I would hope that if we got a sizable lead (4+ TDs) that Omar gets pulled. Legs can get broken at anytime.

Pull him, we can't risk losing him for the rest of the season because a lineman missed one block, and Omar goes down with a season ending injury. Thus ending his heisman campaign and our season

I would like to see Turner get some game experience.

It's fair game until the 4th quarter. I say he atleast starts the second half, plays one or two series', depending on the score.

We've already shown time and time again that we put in the wisconsin offense when we're up big in the 2nd half. So I don't think it really matters if he's in there or not because we're not going to throw the ball downfield and rack up big numbers when we're up 56 - 14 in the 4th quarter.....and we shouldn't. I'd rather be a class program than run up the score for Omar or the program's benefit.

Against Toledo & Miami he plays the whole game even if the score is 75 - 0.

Kill Miami then kill Toledo.

My sentiments exactly...but any other time, Anthony has got to be in the game. He needs game time, especially if we want to beat Wisconsin next year, cause face it...he WILL be the starting QB. Omar will be gone.

I want to see Turner get some PT> Omar plays a couple series in the 2nd half and then his day is done.

Leaving Jacobs in the game in a blowout is stupid. Ever heard of cheapshots? Much more likely to happen when you have your Heisman Canidate in the game with a 50 point lead. Think teams like Ball St. and Temple could really care if they lost another player at this point?
