CMU 38
Miami 37
Sure does help our cause, but now we've got to watch out for those Bobcats.

Those pesky Slobcats could be our spoilers this year!

I just dropped by Miami hawktalk, and the lack of enthusiasm coupled with Ohio's win last night leaves me thinking that they're feeling a little jaded down there this weekend.

I must admit that in a weird, S&M kind of way, I'm very sad right now.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
ABC had it 34-31 as a final. Weird.

It was a tough loss. Central has a very good quarterback - Kent Smith - who could scramble for big gains. He ran for 122 yards and threw for 356 yards. Miami's defense just did not show up. Nance also had the dropsies.
Miami had a chance to win the game with a field goal with less than 15 seconds in the game, but Central got a hand on it and it fell short. That made for 3 missed FG's on the day for Miami.
It's a good thing that BG is getting a pass on Central this year.

Not really....they would be at the Doyt this year. But that is a big win for CMU. In Oxford. Thanks!

yeah, the crowd was absolutely stunned silent leaving yager on saturday. defense was terrible, nance had the drops (again) and we didn't do enough to establish a running game and control the game. ugh.

At least there wasn't a FAT punter involved! Was there?

Ohhhhhhh....the fat punter.....we'll never, ever forget that game, will we. I'll at least say this much, getting to bowl games the last two years has at least taken a little of the edge of the "fat punter" game for me. Although, we still haven't won a MAC Championship yet and we would have had we beaten CMU that year. Man I hope we win the MAC this season!

Never forget! For anyone who was there, it would be impossible to forget. The whole play looked like it was taking place in slow motion. The play lasted for 45 seconds, I swear!

I often wonder, what if one of our players who was on the sidelines just jumped out and illigally made the tackle. Down at that point plus 15 yards? What would have been the ramifications?
