what did i tell you all about my boy Chuckie? He made some unbelievable catches tonight including 1 handed grab behind his back on 3rd in long to keep the drive alive. plus 2 nice TD catches, and a bomb that stayed in the air for an eternity. guess what? no drops! said it before and i'll say it again, he is one of the best players on this team and we really needed him tonight even against Ball St!

i noticed no one fessed up to this. maybe because they dont care or maybe because they realized they were wrong. i guess also it could be it was only 1 game, but then again so was Wisc, and only 1 of the drops was meaningful. anyway im gonna give myself some knucks for sticking my neck out and being correct! go BG and Chuckie, beat the smurfies!

Well, I wasn't one of the people ripping on Chuck after the game. In fact, I really don't understand the necessity of this debate.

Chuck is a great player. He's almost lights out. But, he's not perfect. Chuck only had a couple of drops at Wisconsin. Every reciever drops balls - Jerry Rice even dropped his share during his pro career. Personally, I think the Sharon-bashing that followed the Wisconsin game was more of a biproduct of a lot of the irrational negativity that followed that loss around here.

And just so we're clear, BGSUFF, its not your argument that I don't understand - itts the fact that you even have to argue it at all.

Dude, great point. Give yourself some knucks for that!

I'm glad that he pulled it through this game... I believe Wisconsin will be his only bad game this year.... I have a feeling that he will have a bigger game at Boise... i'm predicting 10 catches for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns

I think BG fans know that. He's a senior, and they expect him to be there for the team in every game...not fair, but that's how it goes. Probably what he expects of himself, too.
