What is the latest on this?. Somewhere I read that there is no TV show or FOX net did not pick it up this year, but I am unclear since this BG site still shows FOXOH as airing it on Saturdays at 11:30. I have DirecTV Fox net sports package and have enjoyed BG show for the past few years. TIA

That website hardly gets updated, last week they still had Tim Beckman as our D-Cordinator. But there is no coaches show this year.

Sad. I realize the expense involved, but without promoting BG through TV, how can we expect to reach the next level? The ESPN and ESPN2 exposure helps, but I felt the coaches show was a great national promo tool with FoxNet. Even if it was local it would help. How many MAC schools have TV shows at least on the local level? Toledo? Akron? NIU? others?

I seem to remember someone with the department was quoted as saying they didn't think the show was the best use of resources, that it would be better to put the money toward putting butts in seats.

That logic works for me.

Our team will be on ESPN four times this season, minimum.

I'm not sure the coaches show would land us one additional recruit.

maybe the tv money went towad promoting Omar this year...a budget only has some much room and I could see GB give up the coaching show for Omar.

The contact Schad refers to also said that most MAC teams were giving up their show as well.
