If you were GB and we miss our first xp at BSU, would you just pull Tim and go for 2 from then on?

Someone who made the trip to Muncie has reported they had Nate Fry warming up in the fourth.
I expect they'd let Nate try to make the extra points.

I rather dig that banner of yours, Schad.. And you know, those tatties don't just look like any old tatties, either, they look like IDAHO tatties!

About the same time I saw Fry warming up, I saw Steve Sanders talking to/encouraging Timchenko. I would not expect to see Brandon completely abandon Timchenko at this point in the season. Not to make excuses for 3 missed extra points, but we do have a new long snapper and holder as well. Perhaps 1 or 2 of those misses could be pinned on those guys. Probably not, but certainly possible.

I'm just playing devils advocate here, but the missed XP's were entirely Timchenkos fault. Place blame where blame is due. And yes if he misses the first XP at boise pull him. Go for two only to even out the score, then use Fry or one of the other backups.

All I can say about this topic anymore is, in the preseason I took some heat for pointing out how our kicking game was likely to be a big concern on the team. Now, after two games into the season, I find myself holding my breath every time we attempt an extra point.....and we haven't even tried a field goal yet. The bottom line is, I could care less "who" is kicking for us, just as long as they hit extra points and make some field goals. We have got to have someone on this team that can make extra points for us. Sometime this season, we're going to need a big kick and I'm not feeling good about that at this time. I'm no coach, but I've been to both games this year and the snaps and holds looked pretty good to me. The three missed extra points got off, they just sailed wide. There was one made extra point that barely got over the crossbar at Ball State, that one might have been tipped - I'm not sure. But the three misses should have been makes IMO.

What's the percentage on 2-pointers. If you could make half, then you'd be equal to kicking.

I remember back in the spring and Brandon said this about the kicking game "All we need is someone to kick extra points." Going along those lines, if we DON'T (and it sure looks that way) have someone to kick xp's, I would not be surprised at all to see us go for two every time right off the bat.

Bowling Green High School's kicker was a lineman a few years ago and kicked straight on and never missed....no excuse for a college kicker to this many xtra points.

Gotta love those straight on kickers!
Joe gets another chance at Boise...if things don't go well, let's see what Fry can do.
Also, Nick Goss walked on from Westerville South HS.
I think the holds and snaps have been pretty darn good. Seems to me Joe is just missing them.

Just like he did in the scrimmage we went to a few weeks back...
I wish I could say this was unexpected
