Please tell me there are two different Craig James. If there's only one then I refuse to listen to him on ESPN2 during the Boise State game.

Why are you concerned anyway? We are only gonna lose per your comments...so why go through the agony. There's another MAC/WAC game on the following week that you might enjoy.

I can hear it now, "these two teams are good teams, but would be bottom-tier big ten, and big XII teams."
"Omar Jacobs isn't that good because he plays against MAC opponents."
That's why I hate Craig James.

No, these teams really aren't as good as they could be because they need to gain about 50 lbs and 2 - 3 inches at the lines and skill positions respectively.
Now THAT sounds like falconboy...lol!
Nobody

...with the possible exception of Trev Alberts...in America is more anti-midmajor than is Craig James.
The irony is that his alma mater has been banished to forever-more forgotten mid-majordom in large part because of what he accepted or permitted to be accepted while there.
We in Boise despise Craig James too.

for what it's worth, jenny craig james HAAAATES boise state. the guy's gone out of his way to bad-mouth the program. after we were 10-0 last year we weren't even on his Yahoo Sports Top 25 list.
i don't know if he's ever been to Boise, but our out-of-date press box is not going to impress him, either. i'm sure the cramped quarters will get him in a sour mood and he'll start Boise-bashing again.
as for pam ward, i used to like her until she did the MPC Bowl game last year and had this little gem:
"Welcome to Boise, Idaho. The locals pronounce it Boy-See, but we'll call it Boy-Zee."
how disrespectful is that?!? that's like saying:
"Welcome to Bowling Green, Ohio. The locals call it Bowling Green, but we'll call it Bowling Purple."
or maybe i'm just being overly-sensitive.
no. no, it's they who are wrong.

The locals in Kentucky pronounce in Bowlin' Green. Fortunately we're not in Kentucky!
Does anyone outside of Boise pronounce it Boy-See?

not many. my family does (they learned), and they're scattered all over between virginia, texas, wisconsin, california and hawaii. and everyone in my company that i work with in our other offices know how to pronounce it.
but honestly, until i moved here i didn't know how to properly pronounce it, either.
then again, when i lived in chicago, there were plenty of out-of-staters who pronounced the state Illi-Noise.
mostly Boizeans.
i mean, BoiSeans.

Hey, speak for yourself.

I was just down there at Mammoth Cave with my daughter in early August. She was getting quite a kick out of the accents! Not only is it Bowlin' Green down there but the emphasis in on Bowlin' instead of Green. I think she got the biggest kick when one of the naturalists mentioned a program to be held at the outdoor theater in the park. Thats "the" (long e) "a" (long a) and a quick "ter". Fortunately she showed a bit of respect and didn't giggle until he was out of ear shot.
