It hurts to read it (MAC with 7 teams on the list or witing list) Buts its funny to see Toledo there, and coming in at #7........ Direction Michigan! Thats right, all the directional Michigan MAC schools are tied......

I don't think EMU deserves to be in there. Toledo has been beaten worse than all of those teams.

3 Toledo 0-0 Don't be surprised when you see QB Bruce Gradkowski and Toledo's names among the nation's leaders in offense. They're that good.
Also, this was the preseason "mid-major six pack" listing. UT at #3.....

Too many negatives around here. Its not as if Oklahoma made a road trip to Wooster St. Its not like Michigan had to find I-75 South. Its not like OSU stopped the bus to get directions to Marshall. Road games don't get tougher than these. So what if half the conference sucks? All the more reason to get out there and show why the other half cranks. Just do it. Rock on.

That's a lot of negative press for the MAC to swallow. Last year, the MAC was thumping its chest and yelling about deserving a third bowl bid. It will take quite a turnaround over the rest of the season to quell the critics.

Yeah...But I don't see how the MAC can dig itself out of the hole. OCC is coming to an end soon, so then the "crappy MAC"

just begins to beat on itself.

Sure, the OCC games are coming to an end and these games haven't helped the MAC to much. But two bowl wins at the end of the season agin this year will help to redeem the MAC a little. Plus, if BG can run the table on the MAC, we will likely be ranked in the top 15, which would increase our recruiting power again and continue in helpig us to build up a program that would be the Powerhouse of the MAC.

yes, but a powerhouse of a bad conference (not saying we are, but people think we are still a small conference, even if we know better) is not always looked upon as a great team nationally, even though we are. Its still the direction we need to go, and hopfully some of the other upper tier MAC teams cam regroup after OOC schedule losses, and once again show the country how good we really are. If we can run the table, and Miami run the table again, it will be another popular title game for the MAC thats for sure.
