Really? Last time I was in there, last Saturday (I stop in weekly) all they had were a handful blank home jerseys, not really a selection to choose from.guest44 wrote:Rhett Magner hasn't caught a pass yet, who knows about the SEBO, but SBX does have football jerseys

Why falconboy, do have some new inside information on the Sebo Center? Did all of the home games come and go and BG forgot to break ground or something? What new information do you have?falconboy wrote:Win a Super Bowl before we see any Sebo Center I think. Its not looking good for that building.![]()

True, they are a luxury item. But you don't have to buy a size that will fit shoulder pads unless of course that's what you plan on wearing your jersey with. As for "going out of date the next year", it just doesn't happen with BG jerseys. Case in point for myself is that some of the best jerseys at the games are the retro BGSU jersey (Freak and '87 et al.). I always love seeing an old BG jersey at the game as much as I like seeing all of the new jersey. For myself, the number on the jersey is also really minor because it is a continuous cycle of new players wearing your chosen number anyways.Germainfitch1 wrote:I have a question. I have never bought a jersey. They just seem too impractical to me. Because of there size, you really can only wear them to a football game/sporting event. Why do people buy jerseys? They are only going to be out of dat next year.
I'm just saying , I not believing anything until I see actual groundbreaking. Its now the middle of September, and I've seen no action around the stadium whatsoever to date. We are still supposedly 4 million off the reported cost of this thing with the some upated costs we might be even 6 or 7 million away from being able to build this thing. If the university can take out a loan for this thing and pay it off later , why havent' they done it yet? :-\UK Peregrine wrote:Why falconboy, do have some new inside information on the Sebo Center? Exactly...none of us know anything speficic and those who do aren't talking and they should not be until something is definitive.TG1996 wrote:But isn't part of the "updated costs" because they were trying to adjust DOWN? And I view the destruction of the north bleachers as a groundbreaking of sorts. While it's definitely a little curious that plans haven't continued on the timeline originally stated, things happen. Unlike your view that unbroken ground means a failed project, I'm going to keep looking forward to the Sebo Center until I read a press release from the University that says otherwise.
