Now that Celine Dion is safely in captivity in Las Vegas I think they can stop apologising for her.
On the other hand Canada did produce the Guess Who, Rush, Blue Rodeo, Neil Young, the Northern Pikes, Cowboy junkies, Bruce Cockburn, Leonard Cohen...

"J16" just doesn't have quite the same ring to it... though interestingly, no one has #5, and only one person (Harry Hood in 1948-52) has ever worn it for the Stampeders... time to do some "CFL retired numbers" Googling...
EDIT: Yep. #5 is retired in Calgary...
