I still saw some players around campus, so I'd imagine the team isn't leaving until tomorrow.

But Coach Brandon was kinda late again this week. I'm guessing brainstorming all the plays we'll need vs Boise.

I think we have plenty of plays.

What we need are performances by some key personnel!

i.e. parks, teddy P, markray, smith, perry.

Those are the 5 most key guys I can think of. I think The skill position guys are gonna put up huge games regardless. It's the D that needs to step up and steal this ball game.

Getting close now....

Oh yeah....................

BTW, Coach mentioned that Boise likes to throw it deep ALOT!! I'm getting a little more nervous bout this game. Coach said Boise doesn't care if receivers are covered or not , they'll just throw it up there. Man , not good for our db's unless we can get some bad throws and pick em off. I'll tell ya , we are going to need a pass rush once and for all in this game. If we have none , we'll get beat deep alot. Boise apparently has a 230lb wideout who's going to be hassle to cover and tackle. It just keeps on getting better for our D doesn't it? :|

Damn falconboy. Who pissed in your wheaties this morning. I've never seen a more pesimistic person in my entire life. Why don't you go root for Boise you seem to know more about them than us.

Enough with that, I like our chances tomorrow. Zabransky showed that he is proned to turnovers. He already has 4 int's this year, I think that's where the game is won. If we can force some turnovers than I say we win it.

It was possible for you to get more nervous??

One more question. In what universe is a QB who "throws the ball up" even if the receivers are covered a bad thing for a defense?

On the contrary, I think that's better for us. I'd rather have a team trying to sling the ball downfield than ram it down our throat. Our secondary has had its problems, but have played above my expectations to this point. Perry is a playmaker and Smith, though young, has mixed the good with the bad. Jordan has not been the on ramp to the end zone that he is often made out to be. So if Boise State wants to try to play pitch & catch, I say bring it on.

It doens't have to be a bad thing if you've got db's that got a clue. The hope is that our db's come prepared and ready to dish out some good man to man coverage and tackle people. I don't want to see Jelani getting beat for the 400th time this game and once again look like he's retarded out there. If I see Jelani or Smith left out to dry by the safteys again for a long td pass I'm going to ::puke:: I expect him as senior to set a different tone this year and become a playmaker for US not the opposition.

I didn't see the Ball State game, but Jordan played pretty well against Wisky. He's sixth on the team in tackles.

how do you define irony?

Jordan has been solid so far this year. The concern on defense against Boise is not in the secondary.

OK Falconboy,
First off...our DBs have 3 interceptions after only 2 games and 2 were by those safeties. Jelani was player of the week at Ball State and had great coverage, which is why no deep balls were even attempted in his direction. Second of all, when a team is ramming the run down your throat, safeties must also key in for the run, which means one on one coverage for the corners and that's something a corner must know how to do. That does not mean the safeties did not do their job and it does not mean they left anyone out to dry. Last, I think our coaches have a clue and our DBs also have a clue, with 3 of the 4 starters from last year. If anyone is clueless...(maybe I will stop here).

more importantly...

GO BG!!! :supz:
